7.1 Mag Earthquake In Fiji

It hasn't been on the news, yet. I wonder what it could affect there.

There was a 7.3 near the Sandwich Islands earlier.

Sky News is saying it is 580km below the surface and won't have any significant effect at sea level.

As long as there is no Tsunami. Fiji would be pretty devastated if that happened.

I am in Fiji at the moment, and didn't feel anything. In fact, I didn't even know about it until I got a call from overseas to see if everything was ok. It was in the Tongan trench, between Fiji and Tonga.
