Over 45, You're Not Welcome At The Super Bowl

Thu Jan 05, 2006 4:12 am

2,000 amateurs are being sought to sing and dance with the Rolling Stones at the Super Bowl's halftime show.
But if you're over 45, don't bother applying:

Maybe that's because the Stones don't want any competition in their age bracket.  Silly

Marketing people run amok.

The marketing geniuses think it makes things look more attractive if everyone dancing is young, and probably attractive (unwritten requirement). They are probably right but to post that as a requirement is just stupid.

Well, according to WWJ news radio here in Detroit, the NFL had so many complaints from fans 45 and above, that yes, those old farts, myself included, will be allowed to dance.

Now, that we've gotten over the important news of the day.....

Well if someone is going to have a wardrope malfunction, as W.C. Fields said, "I'd rather have two 20 year olds than one 40 year old!" In this case two 22 and a 1/2's than one 45 year old! lol

I am surprised that no lawsuits have been filed for discrimination for age....
