The Darwin Winner From South Africa

Fri Jan 06, 2006 7:52 am

Dateline: Bloemfontein, South Africa..
A suspected mugger being chased by security guards met a grisly end after he fled into a zoo and climbed into the bengal tiger enclosure. (It should be noted that an empty can of beer was located near the corpse)

In the states some lawyer would sue the zoo for unlawful death..

to wash down the salty taste of "Criminale de Stupide in persperation sauce".

Oh well. At least an endangered species got fed properly in captivity.
Maybe we should make it a regular thing for criminals - Get rid of crime on the streets and save the endangered carnivores at the same time. Talk about saving the world....
The WWF campaign can be "Get criminals off the street and into our animals tummies"

The best part of this was when I heard about it on the news, the report ended with "no action will be taken against the tigers"

This happened weeks ago by the way....
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

If only all the other criminals in SA would take a page out of his book.

Well, with some of people you never know. Lions in the Kruger National park have in the past been destroyed for killing people trying to get into South Africa from Mozambique via the park on foot. Some idiot may just have tried to use the same stupid line of reasoning against the tigers.
