I would rather think that there will be a big meeting in Farnborough this year (at least I am planning to go there).

Patrick is quite right although in the spirit of UK LCC market saturation there may well be room in the summer months.

Just think, we could have a farewell 24/06 meal with the table aligned to a heading of 235.5!  Wink

I think MAN would be a better meet than Farnbrough as airshows tend to be packed and not conducive to good socialising.

And as I missed last years, I wanna go this year! Big grin

Well, a summer MAN Meet is now an A.Net tradition!  bigthumbsup  The previous two years were superb, the 2004 gathering was my first ever 'Meet', when I met fellow A.netters for the very first time (I still wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night!  Wink) Look where that all lead to, some of you I now even grudgingly call 'mates'  Wink

Living just 60 miles from MAN, then it would be simply unforgiveable and rude for me to say I am nothing short of definite for this. Just keep the Farnborough weekend free, as quite a few people (including myself) would quite like to go there too. Otherwise, any weekend in July or August would be perfect with me.

If we can get the incredibly good weather of MAN 2005 then it would be perfect (and a miracle!), and I promise take adequate measures not to turn into a lobster this time! Big grin

And when all is said and done, I need an excuse to catch up with that reprobate, Pe@rson, again! Big grin

Nah in all seriousness, I don't like it here at all, I want to go far from the parents to be more independent and MAN is a place iv always liked and enjoyed going to. So I decided to take a big step with it (A lot of planning involved though) And yes I have had people laugh in my face about it and all that crap but stuff them, This is what I want to do and im old enough to do it. Hey kaz, you go for it. Moving away will probably be the best thing you do for a while. Just make sure you have a decent job and someplace to live.

I'm sure some of the more mature MAN locals will make sure you settle in OK.

(with my mum in tow!  Embarrassment Late Christmas/Mothers Day present for her) I will expect extra special BACX care on my arrival, and again on my departure in the evening! Mother dearest likes BA so you have to keep her happy!  Wink Fortunately, I fly the week before BA Connect starts so I am already looking forward to my proper, 5* dining experience on my 40 minute Dash 8 flights.  Wink

Sounds like a dodgy scam! BACX employee with T3 employee wife getting free 3W tickets! Actually, I almost booked with Euromanx as their prices have, amazingly, become competitive!  Smile Pro's: quaint little carrier, possible Dornier 328 flight. Cons: they might run out of money before March (hope not), less than impressive punctuality until recently, BA might make more effort if things go wrong.

Therefore, as fares were similar, BA won the day. But 3W were close. RE didn't even contest (higher fares).

Anyway, I digress. So which weekend would most people like MAN?
