Syriana Soundtrack

Sun Jan 15, 2006 1:44 am

Hey everyone,
I recently watched the movie Syriana, and I was wondering if the song that plays towards the end of the trailer is on the soundtrack. Is it "Beirut Taxi?" Thanks!

Sorry to be so broad. The song sounds middle eastern and also sounds a little like steel drums.

I think you are thinking of Beirut Taxi. You can listen to 30-second samples of the soundtrack on Amazon:

It sounds like you like Middle Eastern music. Let me also suggest music composed by Elias Rahbani and Philemon Wehbe.

Also, you might like the Lawrence of Arabia theme composed by Maurice Jarre. He's a French composer who's composed many Middle Eastern pieces.

Hope this helps.

BA - I downloaded that one from itunes and unfortunately that isn't the right one--I was thinking that it was. It is a good track, though.

I did read somewhere that the song is actually from the 'Spy Game' soundtrack. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so, which track?
