Unlike the case with salmon, the wild-caught version of which is much better, there's little taste difference between wild-caught and farm-raised shrimp.

And the cold water shrimp are better tasting then the warm water varieties.

Boy I remember pulling shrimp pots out of Kachemak Bay as a kid....those where good shrimp.
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

same with salmon, if you breed and grow the fish or shrimp or whatever in cold, clean water then they are apparently less 'lazy'. That improves the flavour of the muscular parts of their bodies.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find my own way there...
