Magnitude 7.7 earthquake strikes Indonesia
Tremblor was 212 miles deep in the Banda Sea, U.S.G.S. reports

GOLDEN, Colo. - A major earthquake struck in the Banda Sea in eastern Indonesia on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
It had a magnitude of 7.7 and its depth was estimated at 212 miles.
