None whatsoever. I'm surprised he has lasted this long.

Nope - not a surprise. Lets see if they're quite so keen on Steve Bruce this time now Birmingham aren't doing so well.

No doubt they'll try to get Sam Allardyce if they can or are they finally going to install Shearer with a Director of Football to oversee him.

Won't make any difference though - they're destined never to win anything  Wink

Shame. I was hoping he would still be there when Saints played them in the Cup.

Then he could have been sacked after we'd beaten them on live national TV Big grin

Doubt that would happen seeing as we nicked 3 points off you on Tuesday and we're not a Premiership team  Wink

Would that be the same Saints who lost to my beloved Plymouth on tuesday night and are now even lower than us in the table  Wink

Funnily enough, GKirk and I were just discussing this on the train this morning - didn't think it would happen this quickly though!  Smile

Big Sam would only leave Notlob if it was for a really big football job, and Newcastle isn't one of them.

Allardyce is Bolton through and through, and besides there is a job he would much prefer waiting for. And I don't mean England either. This one would mean he wouldn't even have to move house.

Can you see Ferguson going at the end of the season?

Yes, if they don't win anything again.

Big Sam could be tapped up for the job as he's got a phenomenal record of doing wonders with little money. The Glazers might well think that he is ideal, and could do miracles with United's resources.

It would be between him and a foreign manager (forget Sven, he's bollocks)

True, but would the allure of the England job be too much for him?

Woo! Hoo!

I stuck a fiver on him being the next premiership manager to go back in November last year, at 16/1. That's 80 smackeroo's in my pocket today!

Forget Big Sam, et al...

Ant & Dec for Newcastle manager!

Damn,

I was quite enjoying Newcastle languishing in the bottom half of the table! The nail in the coffin was Souness announcing that Newcastle have been pulled into the relegation scrap.

Don't give up hope, they've appointed Glenn Roeder as caretaker.  rotfl

Incidentally, I wonder when the last time it was that a Manchester City performance got the other bloke sacked...  Wink

Wasn't that something to do with a dodgy penalty that not even the Plymouth players or fans saw? And I thought that referees were bad in the Premiership  Yeah sure

On the bright side, the Mackems are still at the bottom of the table.
