Crackpot Website: "Thought Screen Helmets"

Sat Feb 11, 2006 5:20 am

Earlier today, while looking up Alien/Human Hybrids on Google, I ran across a crackpot website called "Stop Alien Abductions" ( http://www.stopabductions.com ), about how to make a "Thought Screen Helmet"!

Now I know where the Tinfoil Hat Brigade (and others like them) get their weird ideas! This weird website claims that you can make your own "Thought Screen Website" (and gives step-by-step instructions) by putting strips of Velostat (what's that?) into almost any type of hat or helmet. This hat will supposedly prevent aliens from tracking you down and telepathically controlling you in order to abduct you. They claim that this type of hat has stopped abductions!

Where's 744F when you need him? Enjoy--and laugh! (Or if you really want to test this theory, go ahead and make your own alien-proof hat!)

Try if you want, but these hats have a snowball's chance in hell of protecting you against us aliens among you!

I suspect that the reason that such screens would not work is that they are subject to electromagnetic jamming from the People Who Live Underground.

Alternatively, we live in or on a Hollow Earth and everything is inverted.

Or, thirdly, the flatness of the Earth means that...

Ah, forget it! I'm losing precious neurons just thinking these things up!
