Happy St David's Day

Wed Mar 01, 2006 7:02 pm

Just wishing the rest of the world a Happy St David's Day...Wales' national patron saint!

More information on who he was here, http://www.stdavidsga-cymru.org/stdavidday.html

The new Welsh Assembly in Cardiff is also being official being opened in a very snow snowy Wales today!

Have a great day!

Regards,
Chris

Happy St Davids day to you too and the rest of Wales, if only you could find a way to get rid of Gavin Henson, things would be a lot happier for you all!

Hate to piss on your fireworks guys, but technically St David's day was yesterday!
St David is patron saint of Wales and as such his saint's day should be celebrated on March 1st. However this year March 1st is Ash Wednesday and you are not allowed to celebrate a saint on Ash Wednesday(or Good Friday), so you sholud have been eating daffodills and wearing leeks yesterday I'm afraid.
