Hypercolor T-shirts

Sat Mar 04, 2006 7:33 am

Does anyone here remember Hypercolor t-shirts? The t-shirts that were popular in the late 80s -- changed color when heat was applied. I know I had one, but I was a little kid then, so I don't remember... how well did they work? Did it last or was it something that would wear out?

Most importantly, does anyone know any stores in the US where these are still sold?

They're on ebay, but I'd much rather get one in the store so I can see it before I buy it and such.

Ha Ha, I remember those. I used to have the purple one. I think they did wear out over time, especially the more they got washed.

Was a cool idea, but in reality when you think about it - who wanted to look at other peoples hot sweaty armpits !!
