Design Your Own Flag!

Mon Mar 20, 2006 5:50 am

Have you ever designed a flag of your own ?

Design your own flag and explain what each colour , picture or symblo represents. Here is my own flag which I came up with one day in high school when we had to write a sort of project about an imaginary country. Ever since i have stuck to it

The Red means love, Yellow wealth(the biggest wealth one can have is a good health) and the green means my harmony with the nature .
The condor in the middle is to outline my Latin American origins , my Roots
I chose this combiantion of colours since its by far my favourite combination and ever since I became a Bob Marley fan I love those colours even more

A man without the knowledge of his past history, culture and origins is like a tree without roots

We had to redesign a country's flag for art I redid Australia to be a white-red-blue tricolour (British heritage, white for purity, red for the soil, blue because it is surrounded by sea) with a blue southern cross (for the Southern Hemisphere).
