Why Were Most US Planes Registered In November?

Wed Mar 22, 2006 11:27 pm

HAHAHA! This must be the third funniest thing I've heard this month.
When flying BWI-ISP on Southwest last Sunday, there was a guy and a kid (probably dad with his son) the row in front of me, and the dad explained to his son how all WN airplanes had a registration starting with an N because they were added to the fleet in November, and as a proof (!) he said that N is November in the NATO alphabet. You can imagine the big big grin on my face! Stupid kids believe anything their dad says, but I would have loved to hear the kid ask something like "so where on the NATO alphabet are the other months?"

Classic!

There is one problem with airbus. Though their products are engineering marvels they lack passion, completely.

No, I didn't. And frankly I don't care either. I don't want to teach anybody. Sounding dumb with wrong facts is one thing, but leaning over to the row in front of you saying "excuse me I happen to be mister super cool on Anet, and I happen to know you're soooooo wrong" is even worse.

Could have posted it there, but the JetBlue crowd would have pulled out a friggin chart within about 3 seconds, proving that November actually IS the month with the most registrations. Then I'd have been the dumbass  Smile
