I left my camera at the hotel.
We went to a club frequented by most of the ex-pat community. It's also very popular with young Kazakh women looking for a "passport" out of the country. I managed to really upset one by refusing to dance with her. She was somewhat gorgeous and the possibility that she'd asked me to dance for anything other than ulterior motives was so funny I just laughed out loud. The more she insisted I dance with her, the funnier I found it. Eventually she stropped off to dance round her handbag!
Re Borat, absolutely the best thing about him is that every six months or so, the Kazakh ambassador in the UK gets very upset and complains about the "gross misrepresentation of Kazakhstan".
