Fridays Useless Thread..your Kettle

Fri Mar 31, 2006 3:58 pm

Post a pic of your kettle (or jug if you're Kiwi).

I can't, I was about to but Mrs Jafa caught me in the kitchen with the camera and thinks I'm weird and took the camera off me.

I'll sneak back later.......

no disrespect to Mrs Jafa , but she must be a bit slow on the uptake if she has only just figured this out after how many years of marriage ??

PS I had been going to reprimand you for not being kiwi enough and saying "kettle "... but then I realised that with the number of US members we have here suggesting people post photos of their 'jugs' would just be asking for trouble

Ok, I'll bite. I have one of these, but in yellow - wedding present. It's iron, it's French, it whistles, and it boils water a damn sight faster than our old electric kettle. Sadly, it's hard to find decent tea here in Arizona, the locals are only interested in iced tea.

No it wouldn't. I'd much rather see pictures of "jugs" than "kettles".  Wink

She boils several litres a day and whistles every time!
