Welcome Thrawn!!,

According to the Wiki Grand Admiral Thrawn is described as a tall, solidly built humanoid with blue skin and glowing red eyes. Despite the Empire's prejudice against non-humans, he became the only non-human to reach the Imperial Navy's highest rank – that of Grand Admiral. He was a brilliant military strategist and commanded the remnants of the Imperial Fleet in a series of stunning victories against the New Republic. His study of his enemies' artwork gave him insight into their thought processes and cultures, allowing him to create highly effective tailor-made strategies.

I wonder if he is a trekkie as well? Has He Ever Visited a Star Wars or Star Trek Conference? How deep does the geekyness go?

Speak Thrawn!  thumbsup

No, you're not going to weasel your way out of that one that easily. You didn't notice Thrawn before?  Smile

On a related note, Timothy Zahn, who wrote the Thrawn trilogy and created the character, has come out with the new Star Wars book, "Outbound Flight." I'll be starting it as soon as I finish "Night Train to Rigel" (I'm a big fan of his work).

Sometimes all you can do is look them in the eye and ask " how much did your mom drink when she was pregnant with you?"
