It would be cool to see an Australian Rules game in person. I've heard it's quite a thrilling sport to watch.

I've tried photographing ice hockey, back when my brother played. Tough to capture, especially since I didn't have any of the larger lenses.

Yes, that's what we need, some good NHL and NASCAR photographers, I can't find any good pictures of either, they're all the small little ones that you find in articles on the online newspaper.

If anyone knows of a good site for NHL or NASCAR photographs please let me know.

A friend of mine at the club shoots NHL for SI, he has the Canon 1D Mark II. I guess he needs the 8 frames per second. We had a great talk the other day, his pic of that fight in the Bruins-Rangers game where that guy stuck his thumb in the other guys eye socket won the NYPP pic of the year. It looks fun to do! I may try it! I am already got him interested in spotting!  biggrin
Hey that guy with the private jet can bail us out! Why? HE CAN AFFORD IT!

I shoot canadian football and a lot of rugby. Managed to get a couple of pics printed in the National Rugby Post a local magazine a friend publishes. I just do it for fun.
