Kind of surprising... But then again, it's not nearly the issue that I think the Capitol Police thing was. Criticizing one of her staffers should have been done in private I think (Praise in public, reprimand in private) but I wonder why the station would chose to air it. Seems more of an issue of the station trying to get ratings by flashing her name across your t.v. screen. And if "fool" was the worst thing she called him, then that's not as bad as cussing him out, which is what I was led to believe when I first saw the topic title. Again, I think her biggest mistake was to say that out in public. Even though she has an apparent history of doing rather dumb things I don't think of this as a major issue.

What I found interesting was not her chastising the staffer, but her reaction to the press where she told them what the rules were after the fact, instead of relying on convention which is that she was still miked and the camera was rolling.

That and her description of the assault on the policeman as "discrete" shows her contempt for the truth and facts.

She seems to be incapable of not stepping on her own feet and the real problem is that the percentage of Dekalb that elected her probably won't care and vote for her again.

I agree. Mark Twain's famous quote "Suppose you were an idiot, Now suppose you were a member of Congress...But I repeat myself." Seems to have been written for her.

The only fool she should be upset with is herself.

I'd say she should have read Twains other famous quote, that he probably lifted from Franklin....

Not for another two weeks or so  biggrin

The woman is an idiot.

While facing a public flogging (well, from anyone with any damned sense anyway)she should be watching her PC . . . watching everything she does for the moment . . .

Rather than do that, even just pretending she has a modicum of intelligence . . . she proves correct her critics . . .

 biggrin

And there was absolutely nothing to do with race mentioned anywhere. That oughta give BN747 fits - when he's back from the shelf - and oughta prompt my friend Larry into a comment or two . . .

I love how she thinks she can just look into the camera and make what she said disappear from everyone's memory. Last time a person tried that on me, I immediately repeated back what had transpired... just like CNN is doing her honors now.
