. . . . . just back from the detailer, as it was a disaster. Now nice and clean. As long as that will last while we're still in the middle of breakup . . . (what we Alaskan's refer to as the time between winter and summer when everything is mud colored from the melting snow). . . .

But it's ready for a road trip, here it is last summer in Valdez, AK . . . camper in tow, fish killin' trip  bigthumbsup

Nothing to exciting here.

1995 Geo Prizm that I use mainly for work and to put miles on and to spare the other two cars of that.

2001 Ford Tarus that was very low miles.

1995 Mazda Miata that has very few miles on her, though with gas the way it is she is being driven more and more.

LOL, no, I got rid of the Chrysler Crossfire for the E class. Crossfire was waay to small, though this one is a little big for my taste, but is such a nicer drive. Very pleasant but still has a soul to it.

The great American land yachts of the 1970s can be picked up for under $2000 (US). They aren't expensive at all. They're just expensive to full up and drive everyday.  Smile

For people not knowing what 'yellow-plates' mean, it is an approximate 50-60% off or so, cannot remember the exact figure... But in order to get that reduction, you need to have an SUV sized/type of car and no back seats  Sad

So what is the price for a new Audi Q7 on normal plates?

So what is the price for a new Audi Q7 on normal plates?

I found these prices on Audi's danish website, and the prices are for the car only and no extra equipment:

Q7 3.0 V6 TDI quattro 5-door tiptronic 985.589,-

Q7 4.2 FSI quattro 5-drs tiptronic 1.311.698,-

so for the 3,0 liter diesel engine, it is around 140,000 US dollars

and for the 4,2 liter engine, the price is around 200.000 US dollars, and remember that it is only for the basic car and no fun, no leather seats, no big rims, no nothing. pretty expensive, huh? :P

If you actually knew anything about cars/bikes you would know that most of the weight is shifted towards the front of the vehicle under braking therefore the front brakes need to be a lot more powerful.

lol but isn't that pretty dangerous on a motorcycle? and also, on my car, the brakes are the same size on both front and rear wheels.

It will be easier to be thrown off your bike if you brake really hard because the rear end wont have contact with the ground anymore. Or that is what I can imagine will happen.

How much more logical than up, down, left, right, select, can u get?

You would have to be a complete mong not to understand it.

Audi and Mercedes have simply copied a frankly genius piece of technology, and as they say, original is best.

Yes, if you slam the brakes on, but normal braking conditions are not dangerous at all.

Go outside and have a look at your car and you will see the front discs are bigger than the rears (or indeed you may have drum brakes at the rear)
