Countries Which Drive On The Left

Tue May 02, 2006 4:20 am

While reading through the 'your take on the UK' thread, I happened to notice that some americans seem to have a misguided notion that the UK is the only country in the world which drives on the left, I feel you should all be educated as to how many countries do actually drive on the left... (remember the British Empire?)
Somebody it seems has gone to the trouble of listing which side of the road every country drives on-

As it happens, over 70 countries or so, drive on the left. Take note, septics.

Does that make America a septic tank? Or did you mean skeptics?  Smile

Simple Cockney rhyming slang; however, I thought Aussies called us Septics, and those pomey bastards called us Septic Tanks.  Wink

I personally have never seen any countries that drive on the left. Typically they are all too large to cram themselves in those microwave ovens you call autos (except for Liechtenstein, of course). So there you have it, you old scrubber.  Wink

I didn't know that, thought it was a spelling error!
