Anyone Seen "Descent"

Mon May 15, 2006 6:39 pm

Has anyone seen the British "Horror" movie 'Descent'? I was watching it last night, and thought in the end of it, what's the point when it's not a happy ending! I hate movies without happy endings, especially when you have to make up your own story of what happens. Obviously they all ....

So, anyone else seen it? I was also wondering if anyone know where in the UK that accent from them is in.

Don't know the movie "Descent", but in general I love movies without happy endings. I think if a movie becomes part of the generic hollywood formula, (ie always with a happy ending) my emotions get bored.

I think the prospect of ultimate tragedy has me on the edge of my seat a bit more, which I prefer to comfortably having the assumption in the back of my head that everything will work out nice in the end.

Ive watched it, and I must say its veeeeeeeeery loosely based on the book  Sad

I would recommend reading the book, its one hell of a good read and covers a lot lot more than this crappy film, and doesnt focus on a group of maniac female cavers.
