Hi!

I was just wondering, I know there are many of us, spread all over the world, I was just curious where are you guys?

Let's start with me:

I'm a corporate travel agent in Antwerp, Belgium, living here for 11 years now.

Where do you live? What do you do?

Pozdrowionka,

Where do I live? Warsaw (About 2-3 months out of the year, legal address in the EU, Schaumburg (IL) (Legal address in USA, live here during the school breaks) and Daytona Beach (FL) (School, live here 8 months out of the year). Im magical.

I will be in Poland June 17th for a month, I go ORD-MCO-AMS-WAW so should be a fun time.

My dad's side of the family is Polish. His parents were born in Tarnow and he was born in Lodz. He unfortunatly doesn't speak Polish anymore and has no accent.

If you come to Chicago I will show you where you can import one yourself.

I feel bad for your dad...then again Lodz is a shithole. And Sheepherders who are fans of Wisla Krakow come from Tarnow (Which is basically about 90% of Polish-Chicago)

My dad was born in Lodz as well. His dad packed the family in 1960 and moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil where my grandpa ran a textile factory. My dad eventually divorced from my mom, remarried another Brazilian and moved to South Carolina, then Texas and finally, Florida where he currently is a professor.

He still speaks Polish fluently as he still has relatives in Poland and Polish relatives in Brazil, Germany and Sweden. Also, he inherited some shitty, old buildings in Lodz so he has to deal with that crap although a local guy takes care of everything and tells him what's going on.

Even with my mom begging, my dad never really bothered to teach us Polish when we were kids. Now, I want to become an EU citizen but when I ask my dad about how to do it, he tells me that it's really complicated and bla bla bla. I should just learn Polish myself and take care of that. Anyone wanna help me be an EU citizen? Big grin

Where does he teach? Damn, I hope not in Daytona Beach, because thats where I go to school.

If you have American citizenship, I have a cousin in Poland that would pay you a couple of thousand to marry her for the citizenship, then you could get EU also.

Sounds like a sweet deal but I have a Brazilian citizenship with a Green Card.

He teaches at FAU in Boca Raton. It would be too much of a freakin coincidence if it was in DB.

At least we're Catholic brothers   I too once had a green card. Now I roll into Immigration with a Polish and American passport and say "Miller Lite or Carlsberg"
