Germany 2-1 Costa Rica, you naturally expect the Germans to get past their group stage.

Poland 2-0 Ecuador.

Can't wait for it to start, i've been counting the days and weeks for the last 6 months. I only missed two matches of the last world cup, this time i'm hoping to watch every single match.  Smile

No, Poland is just better than Ecuador.

If the match was POL - BRA then I would predict 1-3 or something like that.

What will be sad is if Poland really loses...we always somehow tend to feck stuff up.

If its about hope, well I always go with the underdog and Costa Rica is always quiet and humble, so I would be quite happy if they won!

As for predictions, Germany should beat Costa Rica, but the first game is often a draw so I wouldn't be surprised with 1-1.

Poland to beat Ecuador 2-0.

Finally the kick-off...well partying has been going on for days and weeks, and finally we get the weather to match it....nearly 30° Celsius next weekend....meaning that the girls can dance in the streets naked...and the best part it: It is NOT forbidden in Germany, no danger to get arrested, SO DO IT GIRLS, especially those from Brasil!!

Ok as for tonight: I'm afraid that bloody Engerlaender enemy Banco is right about opening matches, and since I am very bad at predicting:

GER - CR 0 1
ECU - POL 1 1

Given my expertise (and that of that bloody enemy...remember Portugal??  Wink) when it comes to predicting football results, Germany's up to a great win and Poland should get a severe a$$kicking tonight in Gelsenkirchen Big grin

I live in a town in New Jeresy with a lot of Polish residents. Guess a lot of them will be skipping work for the day or at least after lunch to watch their home country play (it starts about 2 pm/1400h local time). I hope Poland wins or else their could be a lot of unhappy (and possibly drunk) fans around here.
