Add them as you hear them.

I'm happy to say that i get a feed with English commentators.

After reading the above and others remarks in other threads, i consider myself fortunate.  Wink

I agree. During the US-Italy match, the students agreed to change from ABC to the local Grenadian Cable channel which ran an English feed. The sarcasm of the commentators made it so much more fun to watch! Big grin

That's what I thought, they have at least got one okay pair of commentators that are not from the US and when they are on, its a pleasure to watch and hear. It feels that they do sometimes put one or both clowns on the mic. The real fun to watch are their half time reports. Lets include all those comments too and this thread will soar!!! bigthumbsup .

I love this thread! Just wait for me to remember things to post now...

Sorry Tom, here in the Phoenix area its been very popular. Walked through a hotel when the Germany/Poland game was on and it was packed. Also we have the Mexico factor, if you know what I talking about.

Here in the UK we have a series of amusing Budweiser ads featuring two American sportscasters who've clearly never covered football before. Some of their comments are pretty funny.

What's a nutmeg? No idea!

The ball hit this guy on the head, then went over there and hit another guy on the head! What are the chances of that?

Those adverts are quite good:

"4-4-2.... 4-3-3.... 5-1-4 ....... 4-5-1....."
"Are they formations...?"
"No, sudoku......"

The ironic thing is that the US announcers actually pointed out a nutmeg in the US-Italy game.

They're pretty good. Ever heard the commentaries on Boston United's games on Soccer AM? E.g. "...TOUCHDOWN! Head-kick over the zero yard line".
