Favourite Car

Mon Jun 19, 2006 7:59 pm

Nearly put this in Polls and Preferences.

Very hard one but for me it has to be the Aston Martin DB9

I really like Audi's though.

Cars is another hobby of mine. I have hundreds of magazines and without being big-headed, I think I can identify every car in Britain that is mass produced by it's window shape.

not sure though, would appreciate being tested a bit

Cheers Tom

same here! But somehow I find it very difficult to answer your question. There are many beautifull things around now. Probably the light blue Audi RS4 manual would do, but in 5 minutes after thinking more I could point out something greater, and 5 minutes after that again and again and again...

its just too difficult to answer  alert  Big grin

I have so many favourite cars.
My favourite by far is VW Touareg I own a V8 but maybe one day I can get a V10TDI or W12 Touareg. Than I love the Audi A8 especially with the W12 engine. BMW M5 and M3, Dodge Viper SRT10, Jeep SRT8, Mercedes CLK-63AMG and E-55AMG and Porsche Carrera Turbo.

Well, if I could have any car it would be a black 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71...or a 2006 V8-equipped Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both are sharp looking!!

Mine is this beautiful beast. The Maybach. Big grin It has a very high price tag. When in the process of buying one, you can discuss the features you want over caviar with your very own salesman.

Maybach beats the Phantom any day, but actually if I could get the luxary sedan on my dreams it would be and Audi A8 W12! You can buy a used on one ebay for only $98,000  Smile Sadly the Phaeton is stopping production. It should be a collector item one day, not to many of them.

Of course I need to put pictures on my favourite car.

That is a darn beautiful cat. The 2007 model can do 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, and has 480 horsepower. That is one of the nicer new cars around today.

But if you go back, the 1970 Hemi Cuda is beautiful and so is the 1971 Volvo p1800 is also nice.

Just read the other day that it will get a face-lift and that VW does not think of leaving that market so the Phaeton production will not be stopped.

I think they should have left this market to Audi in the first place and should concenetrate on middle class cars. People spending 100K dont want to look at a "VW" sign on their steering wheel.

Thats one thing I like abou the Phaeton and Touareg. Some people just dont know what great cars they are. VW makes a great cars just as good as any other premium company does. Golf R32 Touareg and Phaeton all great cars and three cars I would have in my dream gararge. I already have one just need to work on the other two  Wink
As talking about great cars and Touareg is just the best SUV there is. No other SUV has all the capabilites like the Toaureg, Great on road performance and handling, amazing off road performance, technology, luxary and it can even tow 7700lbs. Only cars which comes close is Range Rover Sport supercharged but I am still not convinced at driving a Land Rover built car over 110mph.
For the Pheton well its almost just like the A8 same engines exterior looks alike. If I had the choice I think I would take the W12 Phaeton because less people have it and at first look people might just think oh look a VW. But it is one of the surperior cars on the market.

Maybe, but it doesn't look as nice as the Phantom I think. In the front seats section it looks like a Mercedes S-class. No need to spend all the extra money then. Don't get me started on the exterior  Wink
