YYZ "Summer Solstice" Mini-Meet..

Mon Jun 19, 2006 10:26 pm

Hey all,

I'm proposing a "whoever-can-make-it" mini-YYZ meet this coming Wednesday, after work hours (for most of us), post 5 pm meet, to enjoy the longest day of the year, shooting and spotting @ YYZ!!!

No strings attached, no planned dinner, nothing like that, just a quick invite to all who would like to show up!

If you're in, drop me a line here!!!!

Environment Canada is calling for rain at 6pm tomorrow night. I am serious...about 2.5cm of rain is supposed to fall between 1800 and 2200.

Alan, you cannot be naked and dressed at the same time. You're either one or the other. naked is when you have NO clothes on and dressed is having clothes on. Just to let you know.

Going to back out on this one unfortunately.. allergies kicked up something fierce overnight and being outside is the wrong thing for me at the moment..

Keep in mind, Snowbirds won't be performing on the weekend.. They will ONLY be performing on Friday @ 7pm, at The Oshawa Lakefront.. Lakeview Park -- Apparently you cannot park at LakeView park, (as it will be blocked off), but you may be able to park up the road, and walk down.

That has changed my plan -- I plan on going to see the snowbirds on Friday night, nad then I may head over with 808TWA on Saturday IF he decides to go.

We ALSO saw a naked Druid running across 24L and 24R, trying to promote a go-around for the El Al flight.. we figured he must have been a spotter-incognito, as we all were up at 23...

I must admit though -- I had to look around for Alan for a minute -- I figured it was just the crazy Scottsman having been affected by the 1 extra minute of sunlight.. wasn't Alan though.

Didn't work though.. Musad Sniper took him out... one shot.. hit him right in the ass.
