NL East Put Up 49 Runs Tonight

Thu Jul 06, 2006 11:34 am

Florida -18
Atlanta -14
Washington -9
New York -5
Philly -3

A total of 49 runs and 2 games are still going on... At 10 years per team, this probably has to be up there with the most runs scored by a division in a while...

Other than the Mets, they all still suck though  Wink

What good is scoring nine when you give up eighteen. Sounds like the pitchers were still recovering from the fireworks last night.

6/27:

MIAMI -- The Marlins entered Tuesday's game winners of 11 of their past 14 games and have been the hottest team in the game over the past month.

-From May 22 through the end of June, they were 24-10.

-All three of the NL Rookie of the Month awards handed out for the past two months have gone to the Fish: May to John Johnson, and June to Josh Johnson / Dan Uggla.

Sad but true. Our stranglehold on the Division will sadly come to an end this year lacking a complete meltdown by the Mets.
