So it appears (c'est une poire, oui) FIFA got their panties in a wad over the videos of Zidane's headbutt that people uploaded to YouTube, mine included. I just got a "video rejected due to copyright infringement" e-mail from YouTube stating "a third-party notification by FIFA 2006 claiming that this material is infringing".
The video was a 19 second recording of a replay on ARD, a public German TV station. So to you copyright wizards, is poor and downtrodden FIFA right or should I send a counter notice? I don't quite like how FIFA does everything to commercialise the game and put its brand on it, so the motivation is there.
Screw you, Seppl!
Edit: By the way, they've either just not yet deleted it or FIFA is showing a beautiful display of double standards by letting this video (and others) be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOd6de3Voxk
