Tool - 10 000 days

After 5 years of waiting, this is a great album that proves Tool still got it.

Theatre of Tragedy - Storm

A step in the right direction, as the electro shit that ruined the last few albums is more or less gone now. New female vocalist sounds refreshing. Fans of Evanescence and Leaves eyes will love this.

That's pretty much all I have right now...

I've gone back and dug out some of the CD's that I havn't listened to for a while:

"Enter" by Within Temptation, before they got rid of the inspiring male vocals.

"Origin" by Evanescence, nice and deep vocals.

"Angels Fall First" by Nightwish.

"Oceanborn" by Nightwish, the two above Albums are their first and their best.

I second this motion. A very solid album indeed. The two voices blend together very well.

Definately fun.

Rush - Vapor Trails is one of my favorite CDs to come out in a long time. It's just a seriously rocking album. Not a bad song on there. Too bad the music doesn't get much radio play. I really like the slightly harder rock direction Rush took on this album (and on Test for Echo as well). It's good to change things around every once in awhile (Rush is good at that).

One of my planned CD purchases. I was listening to Lateralus in the car the other day - this band just gets better and better with each album.

The other recent CD that I love is by a band called Mass Infusion. They're an unsigned band from L.A. that just recorded and released their own CD. You can find them at www.massinfusion.net, or check out some of their music on Myspace.

I feel they peaked around Ænima, but have since delivered two solid albums.

Hehe, the old one is quite good.

I remember when Limp Bizkit brought out that brand new song, "Behind blue eyes". Big grin

Nobody really bothers to make anything original these days, as it's easier to steal of others and make just as much money...

Jack Ingram - Love You

Dang the sun; dang this day
An' I'm just tryin' to stay outta your danged ol' way
To heck with this; to heck with us
An' shoot if I'll ever look back on where I've been
Shoot if I'll ever give away my heart again

Love you, love this town;
Love this mother-lovin' truck that keeps breakin' lovin' down
There's only one four-letter word that'll do:
Love you

Love your cat; love this house
Well, I can't believe myself that I'm lovin' gettin' out
Love talkin'; love fightin';
Thought of never seein' your lovin' face
There's some words that some words just have to replace

Love you; love this town;
Yeah, I'm sick an' lovin' tired of all your lovin' around
There's only one four-letter word that'll do:
Love you

Love you; love this town;
Yeah, I'm sick an' lovin' tired of all your lovin' around
There's only one four-letter word that'll do:
Love you

Love you; love this town;
Love this mother-lovin' truck that keeps breakin' lovin' down
There's only one four-letter word that'll do:
Love you
Love you
Love you
Love you, honey

Christ, the first time I read that I thought you were serious! Almost had a heart attack  Wink

(then again, these days it wouldn't really surprise me to hear some kid say that L.B. wrote that song)

Quoting Thom@s (Reply 13):

Aenima and Lateralus are two quite different albums. Aenima is good song after good song, while Lateralus is more like the metal version of a symphony - you almost have to listen to the whole album in a sitting.

Quoting Thom@s (Reply 13):
What are you waiting for?

Money.  Sad Tomorrow's payday though, so maybe this weekend.
