Dammit! Don't tease me like that. I thought you had a story about some fat chick that started crying at a Dashboard Confessional show and decided to end it all. I suppose now she'll be doing the same thing but just at home over her computer.

Out of morbid curiousity I just checked the site. Still down from 6:40PM PST yesterday. Nerds and losers everywhere must be jumping off of bridges by now since they can't add friends. I would also guess that perverts are having to stalk children the old fashioned way instead of online as well.

JEEEZ.

as one of the first kids to relate himself to the emo movement of the late 90's, I have become more and more horrified with the current state of that genre of music...Music like AFI, Thursday, Finch, The Used, et. al. have all become so poppy and even whinier than the first offerings of the "screamo" genre of emo. And the kids who follow all of their footsteps obsessively are an extremely pretentious bunch who don't deserve to be associated with punk rock.

argh. At first, emo wasn't about wearing girls clothing or having black hair or any of the other notable cliches that go along with "being" emo...it was just about a different kind of music and a more emotional way of expression than found in punk rock.

Good emo of the late 90's came from the Midwest with bands like The Promise Ring, Hey Mercedes, The Get Up Kids, Tuesday and Cap'n Jazz -- The coasts provided bands like Jawbreaker. Extremely notable acts who were influences for many of those bands include Fugazi, The Smashing Pumpkins, and of course, Weezer. =w=

but anyway, enough about the history of emo and the downfall of the original style...the emo kids of today are mainly little pretentious bitches...but the girls can still be hot...

What the Hell does that mean? P-90s? Didn't I have a bunch of those over the 4th of July? Wait, those were M-80s? I'm lost!

I'll give the guy credit that he knows music and how to play a lot of instruments but unfortunately I think it all sounds the same and makes fat girls cry.

Don't worry...my friends and family call me the Music Nazi when I harrass them upon learning they haven't heard of a band. My skills have gone a bit by the wayside given the suckiness of the current music scene.

There're tons of people who play SG's. Hell, if I had the money, I probably would too.

For the most part yep. I saw him on Leno or something like that, saw the SG and was like, well atleast he knows good instruments.
