Unromantic Plane Landing Mars Wedding Proposal

Wed Jul 26, 2006 7:23 am

Don't you just hate it when you charter a plane to propose to your beloved, and not only does the plane crash, but you lose the engagement ring? It happened to one Adam Sutton, according to a recent report. Nevertheless, the prospective bride-to-be...

Quote:
[...] finally said "yes" to the proposal in the ambulance, [...] but Sutton wasn't able to give her the ring. Only the ring's box could be found after the crash.

D'oh!

Wow, talk about irony. You take your girlfriend up in a plane that you chartered to give her a really cool propasal and the plane crashes. That is so sad  Sad The guy probably feels really embarassed, not only charering a plane that crashed but losing a ring, they ain't cheap if i am to be correct?  Smile

First Class passengers are my favourites. They can't get any further forward without an ATPL.

I think you're quite right!

The good news is that the girl said, "yes". She must be some kind of trooper!  Smile

I dunno if you saw this thread over in Civ Av, but it relates to the same incident. Particularly interesting is the article detailing the media response to it...

Cheers!
