Tallinn, Estonia: Around 15 EEK per litre, or (if I calculated right) around $4.60-$4.70/gallon. Probably one of the cheapest in the EU. I really can't see how Americans have the nerve to call their fuel 'expensive'  Smile

Right now, it's at 118.9 cents (CDN) per liter, minus a 3.5 cent discount at the pump, so it's at 115.4 cents (CDN) per liter.

Here in the mid-cities area of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, I've seen regular unleaded range from $2.899 at a Racetrack to $3.099 at a Citgo, all within one mile of one another.

I agree, relative to other prices, US gasoline is cheap. However, the US (and many others) have seen the near tripling of gasoline prices in the last three years.

I paid $3.74 per gallon of regular unleaded at Chevron this morning.

I would complain, but then having paid way more than that in England for a number of years, I still regard it as cheap motoring.

they must have a CA or OC penalty. I have no clue why you pay so much more. Back in 2002? (not for certain the exact year) I bought at Chevron in SF and paid $2.29 and a week later I'm in Fairbanks AK and it's $1.61. I like to purchase Chevron but they are so freaking high even here in Texas.

Yeah, I think there is something added on in CA, to do with state-specific emission controls or something. Not sure exactly what it is, but I do notice whenever I hire a car out of state that gas is much cheaper elsewhere.

Here in Plymouth its £0.95 per litre in the city near to the docks where it arrives by ship, but its £1.12 up on the moors, just 15 miles away.

We had to do a 450 mile round trip journey up to the midlands this week, and it used over £40 in fuel, thats in a 1.3 fiesta on the motorways, not taking it above about 85mph.

I do know that EU has always been higher than the US. But what comes with that are more Fuel-efficiant cars such as the Smartcar or Peugot or Fiat models.

I thought that I would need a car for a high-speed ride to Paderborn yesterday night so I fueled up my father's Audi A8, Ultimate 100 (Aral's premium fuel) came for 1.47 EUR/liter. Fortunately I didn't need to drive to Paderborn.

Prices have dropped a bit in the Tampa area.. my wife found one station selling regular unleaded for "only" 2.77...kids saw a station on I-75 selling it for 2.60-something. Oh well, the Labor Day weekend will probably increase demand, and push prices higher. Then we get to heating season..which will do the same...
