I'm not a real aeronautical engineer, I just play one on Airliners.net.

Let me guess: he'll say later on that someone might have doped him without him knowing? Just the fact he's shown positive for synthetic testosterone shows that he really lacks true sportsmanship. Doesn't he know the side effects from having high testosteone levels (which, and correct me if I'm wrong, is the body trying to compensate the high testosterone levels with estrogen)?

It all started this year with Jan Ullrich and Ivan Basso being banned from the tour, and it all ends with Landis being tested positive twice. No wonder German television is considering whether they'll continue to broadcast the Tour de France, if cyclers continue to get doped.

Personally, I lost respect for the cycling sport.

Cheating SOB!!! I hope he disapears from the face of the Earth!

A lot of us, while growing up, were injured and instead of cheating with performance-enhancing crap, just had to suck up our dreams and go on with life. BUT WE DID NOT CHEAT!!

p.s. As far as I'm concerned, this sport is permanently tainted and I will never watch a single bike event again.

Anyone remember Rosie Ruiz, the one that took the subway to with the Boston Marathon; guessing in a few years no one will remember Landis, most likely will be driving a forklift in some out of the way place.

wow a scum bag, I was really proud that after lance armstrong retired, an american still took the prize, but alas he is a cheater. I guess the american tradition in the tour de france is cheating.
