India: Whats The Weather Like In Your City

Is the weather really as bad as BBC weather service is making it out to be... rain rain rain, and more rain all over?

whats the weather like where you are in india, and whats it been like over the past couple weeks?

Damn...I didn't realise you meant in India only, but since I bothered to open this thread and read it, I'll respond with the news that its 45 degrees Celcius in my city (which is Dubai as of last week) and since I'm pretty close to India and there are many Indians here, I feel justified in adding my contribution Big grin

I'll speak for BOM.
Yes its been raining a lot the past Three weeks,However it has slowed down in the last 24 hrs.
The Monsoon season normally ends by Mid September.
Average wise this year the Rains have been more.

Er, The rains are a welcome relief from the sweltering heat, and not neccessarily considered 'bad' weather! Of course it gets a bit much when it goes on for days on end when you are wading in knee-deep water and getting assaulted by various icky insects at night...
