SoCal Orange County Commuter Trains Revisited

We had them in the Bay Area running from San Jose to San Francisco. Very popular, very comfortable, a very nice way to commute and its alot less expensive to get running than a light/heavy rail system.

I believe those Metrolink cars were built in my hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario, at the Bombardier ("Can-Car") plant.
But that was when I ruled the world

That would be Cal-train running from SF down to San Jose with commuter trips going down to Gilroy. Been on the train many times. They also have Altomont Commuter Express that runs from Stockton down to San Jose too. Taken that train numerous times as well.

They still have CalTrain and it has a much better schedule, though not as much coverage, as M'link

I actually rode on some ACE cars that Metrolink was leasing. ACE only has 3 trains per day at peak times right now, though they are adding a 4th at midday.

Metrolink is wonderful. Could use a wet bar for weekend service, though.
