I don't believe in "Global Warming" but i do believe the Earth does have warm/cold cyles and a "Natural Thermostat" North Atlantic Current is a "thermostat" for the Earth. Volcanoes is another and so on. I believe we have "contrubuted" to "Global Warming" but we are not the "cause" of "Global Warming". But anyway,i LOVE snow. Robert NWDC10

Well OBVIOUSLY the Bush Administration - that goes without saying. And the Scientologists, of course, and Islamofascists, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the Elders of Zion.

I think what NW is trying to say is that the earth contributes a whole lot of green house gases as well... ex: Volcanoes

Yeah, I understand. I don't believe in gravity or that kooky idea that the earth is round, either.

From the USGS: " .. Measurement by the USGS in August from three glacier alpine areas in the North Cascades is 24 gallons/m2 a month. Measurement of runoff at the terminus of ten glaciers by NCGCP indicates Glacier runoff is 316 gallons/m2 a month. This is a 1316 percent increase versus non-glacier areas(pelto,1993). A small area of glacier cover is then important to total basin runoff. In Stehekin Basin, even through the glaciated area is only 3.1 percent, glaciers provide 35-40 percent of the basin's total late summer runoff (based on runoff measurements conducted from 1985-1989 below Yawning and Cache Col Glacier). The observed changes in glacier and alpine runoff make it apparent today that we can no longer intelligently manage our water resources without considering the changes in glacier runoff. The North Cascades Climate Project will continue to monitor the glaciers and make available its data for all to use. .. "

Probably.

Soon enough there will be another ice age, they come in cycles, yes the earth is getting warmer, but, then hasn't it always in between ice ages. I would think so.

Nature. The world's temperatures are not constant.

There was also a global warming trend about a thousand years ago, then things got cooler again, and now they are warming up again. In fact, it appears that our current trend of Global Warming started around 400 years ago.

Is mankind guilty of making things worse. Most probably. We certainly aren't helping, anyway. But did we cause it? No.

I would think there's one color for CO2 levels, another maybe for the time of year when the grapes get harvested, and one for global temperature.

What would you define as "soon"? (just asking, not jumping at your throat...)

The Cascade Mountains also got some snow and i'm sure there is pleanty on the way. And September is early for snow. It tells me what kind of Winter we are going to have. And do a goodle search how plants take in extra carbon dioxide to make their food when they have pleanty of Nitrogen. Link:
