Muscat Layover, What To Do

got 5 hours layover in muscat,Oman end of the month, i know it will be ramadan so i believe the city will be still ''crowded'' at night
landing at 7pm and taking off at 2am.
should we go in town? is it worthed? and what is there to do at that time? beside eating!!
Next destinations, Suarabaya, beirut, paris, Accra

Take a city tour from the airport. There's plenty you can see there in 5 hrs time. Old Muscat area, Ruwi and Qurm come to my mind.

Im not sure actually but if you are going at night I guess the Carrefour/City Center close to the airport isnt a bad idea. Think its a 10 min taxi ride. But if you are goin really late at night like after 11pm or something, there arent too many things that come to my mind, but then its been 4 yrs since I left the place so things could have changed.

oh sorry just read tht ure landing at 7pm so yeah goto city centre/carrefour. Not very far frm the airport
