Boeing Lands Border Contract

Thu Sep 21, 2006 10:11 am

In an article by CNN, the Boeing Company will be awarded a contract worth $80 million by the U.S. government to invent new technologies used at securing the borders...

I would have posted this in civ-av, but it seems like more of a non-av topic.

I'll be interested in seeing what the company comes up with.

Half of it will be given to a special commission headed by Rep. John Culberson (TX 7) to purchase weapons for volunteer Minute Men vigilantes.

The other half will be given to a subcommittee of the DNC to vie for a stronger social support network in Mexico (hence preventing the problem of illegal immigration).
