Caracas A.net Meeting

Thu Sep 21, 2006 2:06 am

Hola a todos!

Within some threads I figured out that two international A.netters Big grin (TGV and Chiguire) are coming to CCS on the first week of October. Other than that, I know that some domestic A.netters Big grin that live in Valencia want to come and join us for any meeting we set up.

So as we have a very cool chance to make it hapen, I open up this thread so you guys can tell whether you can come, so we can settle all the things that have to get done (place, time, etc)

So far, Chiguire is coming from Oct. 3rd to Oct. 8th and TGV will be here beginning the last week of September. I've been thinking about dates and the weekend of October Friday 6th and Saturday 7th sound really good, as it won't bother anyone's job.

Allright, let's do this.

Saludos! Anotense!

Enrique

Great! So we've one signed up so far.

BA747 just confirmed me he will not be able to go because he's going to the AUA Music Festival that weekend.

Great, so we've three so far...

I'm trying to contact a person who works for Conviasa in an important role. It would be nice if we can have a chat with him to see how will things go for that airline.

If any of you guys can contact any airline staff member it would be great!

Keep up coming!

Saludos

797,

I'll be in CCS from Oct 2-4th doing a station visit with CO. If there's a gathering on the 3rd, in the evening maybe, I could join you. Keep me advised.
I should be staying at the Eurobuilding Hotel, just awaiting word from our stn manager there...

Cheers
Jeffrey

For me Saturday 7th (lunch/afternoon) would be better, as I will have to work in Valencia on Friday 6th, and transit time on the Autopista Regional del Centro being difficult to predict, a meeting on Friday night could be put in jeopardy by some kind of "cola".

Anyway I will do my best to join, and I would not like to miss Luis if he is limited to Friday.

Avoid 777 with 3-4-3 config in Y ! They are real sardine cans. (AF/KL for example)

Ok Guys,

I have already sent all the emails to the people I want to bring and I'm waiting for their reply.

So far, looking at everyone's situation, Saturday 7th looks like the best date to set the meeting up. As soon as I receive a confirmation from the people I want to bring, I'll inform you the best possible time. If not, well... we'll have to set it up in the early afternoon so TGV won't have problems.

The place: Centro Comercial El Tolon.

For those of you who don't know where it is, It's located in the best place for all of us: Las Mercedes. Easy to get to. PM me for info.

As soon as we are all confirmed I'll make a reservation at a nice place to chill.

Until now we have:

Confirmed:
Avianca
Chiguire
Luisde8cd
TGV
797

Unconfirmed:
erikgnoha
BA747

Allright, let's keep it flowin' Big grin

I'll keep all of you in touch.

Saludos!

A meeting in AUA would be great, and I am sure more people would be available. With all the discussions and praises, I am sure that DL and CO can offer good deals on airfares.
