LG KG800

Wed Oct 04, 2006 8:13 am

Howdy,

Does anyone own one of these phones? Are they recommended? I'm thinking about getting one on my contract renewal..

I played with one this evening briefly and explored a little and it looked and felt good.. However:

Could i have someone's opinions on them with a general knowledge about them..

Cheers in Advance,

Lew

Hmm, I'm pretty sure one of my mates was texting on one of those this evening, he seemed to like it a lot. I'm happy with my old motorolla flip, all this modern stuff confuses me, lol!

Ok i got the phone today..

To be honest im not all that impressed with it.. You cannot change the message tones to something you wish, there are 4 preset tones which are about 1 second long each, and a very quiet!

Other then that.. great feel to it..

Is this the phone with no actual buttons below the screen but sort of non-moving buttons?

Maybe abit late however I always use gsmarena.com when looking for a movile.

At the bottom there is a user opinions and review section which is quite good.

im off to town on Friday to look for a new mobile, its contract renewal time for me too Big grin

I was tempted by the K800i, but then I read some reviews, and apparently the video camera in it is very poor, so im having some doubts. I love sony ericsson phones, and im really tempted by this one...

I dunno whether to get it, or wait and see what else comes out in the next few months...

That sounds ****** Lew.

I like the look of the phone, but I wouldn't replace my V3x for it.  no

If you don't like it can you swap it, or are you stuck in the contract for 12 months, or 18 months.
