Ahhhh..winter. Highs in the 70's...lows in the 50's...most of the time. First Christmas in Florida... out in the back yard on the cordless telling relatives about the joys of being in shorts, and a t-shirt. Second Christmas it was
18 degrees! Ever smelled a dead banana tree? You don't want to...

That is, if there is any snow.  Silly

At least it's not really winter. You know, when it's so cold you can't even complete a thought? You find yourself going, "You know, tomorrow I should really - F*ck it's cold!!!!!!!!!!!"

As much as I love summer, I'm happy it's winter again: 3 layers of clothing, carefuly chosen, chilly winter snow, coming home from the office when it's dark, the all lit up city, Barbour Jacket time on the weekends. Christmas, a cosy warm room, candles, lights ... Come on Winter, but don't you dare giving us dull grey clouds with 5 Centigrade and rain for the next 3 months!

It's not too bad here, about 60 degrees fahrenheit (15 celsius)

I hate the summer when it's 90 with 100% humidity and I hate the winter when it's 20 below with a wind chill of 40 below.

I hate the rain (and the snow when I have to drive in it!)

Supposed to drop to just below 32*F, 0*C tonight. And tomorrow night. Actually, I think it's supposed to be like this except colder until March. I'm going home tomorrow, where it is in the mid-90s*F. So it'll be 32 when I wake up and 90 when I go to bed. Why did I move again?

I haven't found that its been cold at all, still walking around outside in Birmingham with shorts an T-Shirt on. Only once this week have I felt the need to have a duvet on the bed at all, although by the look of the trees it's going to be a hard winter.

18 degrees? If that's 18 F that would be quite amazing for the Tampa Bay area or for that matter anywhere in the state of Florida. If it was so cold and below freezing wouldn't that negate the smelly dead bananna tree?  confused
