Well I'll certainly give it a whirl, but I hope its better than its predecessor.

I must be in the minority of people who doesn't like Firefox.

Well I was reading up on the main page about all the additions, updates, etc and I was glad to see all the stuff they put in there but not happy about not reading that they will somehow reduce all the memory consuption that the browser uses. I was kind of looking forward to that... Sad

Can't seem to download...RPC fails every time. I wonder if the server is either being hammered, or if someone at their end has cottoned on to the early downloads and gave us a nice lockdown...

Nice, I've been waiting for this release to come out...  veryhappy  I'll definitely take a look at it when I get home.
Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

Only gripe so far is that instead of opening a new tab for each link clicked, it overwrites on one tab

I'm also part of that minority. But I'll definitely give this version a try, seeing that I hate the new IE so much.

How's the memory usage? Firefox was a memory hog which is why I went to Opera. But I find Opera uses a lot of memory too.

I just tried to update and it said there were no updates and I'm using 1.5.0.7!

According to firefox, 1.5.0.7 is the latest version.

Version 2 is still "beta"

This is where I downloaded my 2.0 version.

Even though it might still be in beta, it's a great product. I hated the original version of Firefox, but am loving this one!

It's not in beta anymore! I'm typing this message from the public release of Firefox 2.0. I'm going to go off now and download some skins.  highfive

By the way, the spell-checker built into version 2.0 is just fantastic. Never again will I have to sit through A.net's slow-ass system. The Firefox checker is instant, and it works great!
