Best Underrated Guitar Solo

Sun Oct 29, 2006 7:08 am

I'm not talking about all the ones that have already won all the prizes, like Crossroads, Stairway to Heaven, and Eruption. Nominate a song/artist that you think put out a blazingly good guitar solo, but never have heard anything about it (but still something that we've all probably heard).

My nomination: Just Got Paid - ZZ Top

Every time I hear that I just have to crank it way up, and when he slides all the way up at the end it almost takes the top of my head off.
The only thing you should feel when shooting a terrorist: Recoil.

Thinking of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Prince does an amazing job at the end of the tribute to George Harrison here....

Worth a look for any fans of either I think....
