Weird Stuff On Google Earth

Wed Nov 08, 2006 8:16 am

I got this in an e-mail from my cousin. He actually spotted it sometime last year but the idiot is only sending this to me now. Interesting nonetheless...

What's up with the runway configuration? And also the runways look way too small for any conventional aircraft to take off and land...and wha'ts that black helicopter doing there?!!!

This was over Arizona BTW...so maybe google earth caught this when all the UFOs were out.

Anyone got a tin-foil hat I can borrow?

What kind of operations can they do with four parallel runways that they couldn't do with two or three?

Well, of course I do.....but the contraption still wouldn't require four runways...

Hence my confusion....  Wink

They are emergency procedure training lanes.

It sits on the scanner rather than on the lens of a satellite.

You can't see it from the road that I remember. Great view of it on a x-cntry to CGZ though. The helicopters that train there are parked at MZJ.
