Intelligence Test...

Fri Nov 10, 2006 8:31 am

Many of you have probably seen this already, but my brother sent it to me last night and it had me twisting my mind instead of studying for a test...

http://intelligence-test.net/part1/

Replace that 1 with a 2, 3, or 4 and you can get to other tests of the same sort... Some of them are really simple (101 D...) but some are so specific that they are almost impossible (9 P in S A). I got 15 on the first test before I got too frusturated and had to start looking them up... enjoy.

Well, according to the part 1 test, I am a freakin' genius. I'm thinkin' that's not very accurate being that I can't even figure out how to display the answers for the ones I missed. WHERE ARE THEY DAMMIT?  hissyfit

I don't think the site itself actually displays the answers, I looked them up on google...

Wow, most fun. I got 25/33 but now I'm pretty stumped! Not going to give up on it yet though.

By some of the answers that I thought of and found out to be correct, it seems that people who have lots of knowledge from reading will do better, and said people from the UK will do the best.  Wink Don't know if this is intelligence or not, as I'm certainly not a "genius."

Oh what the heck, sure I am.  Silly

I'm on 23/33 so far, and coming back to it later. It got a hell of a lot easier once I realized it was British/Commonwealth.

If anything, this test really illustrates how cultural bias can factor into standardized testing. Interesting.

I know that 32 degrees is the temperature at which water freezes...but the site doesn't seem to think that's right...

I got that one right, but it took me a while to determine the exact way it had to be written...
Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

I got 19/33 on the first test and will have to resort to Google for the rest. I don't know many specifics about the Britain.
