What Are You Buying Your Spouse For Christmas?

Fri Nov 17, 2006 5:36 am

Just a simple holiday question... What is everyone getting their spouse/significant other for Christmas.

I believe I will buy my wife:

New watch. (Any idea on brand?)
New red Ipod nano.
New set of cutting knives.
and a 150$ visa giftcard.

So lets see all your ideas for the special person in your life.

I'm treating my S.O. to a trip to Prague. Not exchanging gifts as we have too much stuff already. We've become unsentimental in our dotage.

Taking the missus to NYC for New Years. And other gifts include a new watch, a jewellery box (at her request), some CDs and DVDs she's requested, and a diamond necklace that she's had her eye on for a couple of months. I love to buy my wife gifts, so the list will probably get longer.

No significant other as my girlfriend kicked me to the curb a couple of weeks ago.

However I will be getting my family these -

Moms - Digital Camera with Photo Printer
Sister - TV with all the Sex & the City DVD's I can find
Pops - Probably a new Driver, maybe the Taylor Made R5 or R7
It may be too early to drink scotch... But it is NEVER too early to think about it...

I'm thinking of shitting in a hankerchief, handing it to her with a note reading... "You're Dumped"

Honestly, if I were to get her a present this Christmas, she'd expect one EVERY year.  Yeah sure  grumpy
She's as nervous as a very small nun at a penguin shoot.

The whole series is out on DVD, all packaged up. I bought it at Barnes and Noble several months ago.

So nice to see that romance is alive and well. Yeah sure

Depends on how much you want to spend, and if you want something sporty or something dressy.

Something with alcohol, some DVDs/CDs, chocolates. We tend to get most stuff for the kids.

I'll leave this one alone. Queso has it under control.

I'm spending Christmas with mine in SAN. There is a hotel in Little Italy that I can't get enough of, so we're spending three nights there. We're still very much in the discovery phase of the relationship, so it's just going to be some "us time."

Also, my birthday is December 26, and she has told me that she has something special planned for me. What could it be? scratchchin

I have no spouse to worry about, but I'll have to consider whether it's really worth buying one of these for my little sister:

Oh, man! The mind reels with the possibilities...I always loves when the wife gives me the presents that are still considered illegal in some parts of the US.  biggrin

Is anyone surprised?

We still haven't figured out what to give each other. As stupid as it sounds, we already have so much of what we want that we might just save up for the next vacation. And the real presents that we want run into the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
