Be sure to find:

The Old Peculiar Pub - on Bleecker and LaGuardia in the Village

McSorley's Old Ale House - 15 East 7th Street

That's pathetic. It's just a dead bug, not some kind of explosive. Kudos for having the courage to get close enough - you'll be well prepared for Florida, where there are more and larger roaches (which are generally alive).

I threw it out of the window, 15 stories high!  Wink I never touched it though! Eww.. Oh I only know too well about the roachs in FL. When I was a kid I threw one in the freezer when I was out there on vacation. It was fun.

NY is such a fantastic City!! I wish I coulda stayed longer, infact we both do.

Likely to be returning in the not too distant future to get another fix of that addiction that NY has since given me.

I can understand why people come over and over again, it's just superb.

Kaz in NY! My Lord!

Nice pics. I loved the cockroach.

Did you go to Little Italy? If you did you should have stood in front of the Restuarant "La Mela" and screamed "ITALLLIAAAAA" You would have felt what I did when they clinched the WC. That's where I was standing. This way you can practice if England wins again. biggrin

Glad you enjoyed your trip.

Kazzie, nice pics. The Empire state photo: Was that taken from that new Top of the Rock Venue?

I also loved the shot looking straight up the skyscaper. It totally reminds me of when we'd skate down to the World Trade Towers and just gaze up. That is almost exactly what it looked like. Thanks for catching that.
