I Just Bought A Cool Xmas Gift...

Thu Nov 30, 2006 3:05 am

... for my 6 months old son. A scale model 1:20 r/c VOLVO FH16 XL Globetrotter truck with container trailer (that can be released by the remote). I have to "drive" it for him for a few years though... lol!

Actually Mrs GOTbound will get the knitted sweater she's been eying for, and GOTbound Jr will get a "Play To Learn* play house that suites he's age and needs more. The truck will be just be a "extra little special" gift from dad.

Jetjack74, what kind of man do you take me fore? Getting power tools for the Mrs, c'mon! Why own tools when you can hire contractors?

KaiGywer,

I bought in the employee store, by some reason VOLVO Cars still sell toys/novelties/colotictables for VOLVO in the employ shop. I tell you they got some nice scale models r/c cars/trucks in that shop, alot of diet cast display scale models as well, both cars, trucks and heavy machinery. Every thing official licensed by VOLVO Cars/VOLVO.

KaiGywer,

Battery, Lithium battery IIRC.

I guess I'll use the truck to haul beer in the container trailer from the kitchen (Mrs will be in charge of loading operations) to the living room, I guess the trailer will hold about three cans or two bottles. I'll make a trip report on the on Xmas eve!

Does the "Play to Learn" house have a garage for the truck?
