Can Any Germans Help Me Pls?

Sat Dec 16, 2006 10:33 pm

Hi All,

For a school project, I'm looking for the gas, water and electric price in the Berlin area. I tried Google but it couldn't come up with a good site.
Does anyone know a government website for this or any other where I can find such info?

Thanks!

Sure thing.

electricity (rates as announced by Vattenfall Europe Berlin)

4,79 EUR monthly, 17,84 ct/kWh (standard rate)
4,91 EUR monthly, 18,30 ct/kWh (same, higher VAT as of January 1st 2007)

7,96 EUR monthly, 16,46 ct/kWh (reduced rate for larger consumers)
8,17 EUR monthly, 16,89 ct/kWh (same, higher VAT as of January 1st 2007)

5,81 EUR monthly, 17,40 ct/kWh ("ecologically correct" power)
5,96 EUR monthly, 17,85 ct/kWh (same, higher VAT as of January 1st 2007)

Then there's one thing they call "MultiConnect" which they don't give much info about, so I'll skip it.

gas GASAG rates as of January 1st, 2007

yearly consumption up to 3.000 kWh: 4,76 EUR monthly, 8,09 ct/kWh
yearly consumption between 3.001 and 15.000 kWh: 9,52 EUR monthly, 6,19 ct/kWh
yearly consumption between 15.001 and 96.000 kWh: 15,47 EUR monthly, 5,71 ct/kWh
yearly consumption from 96.001 kWh: 24,99 EUR monthly, 5,59 ct/kWh

water BWB rates as of January 1st, 2006

drinking water: 2,309 EUR/m³
sewage water: 2,465 EUR/m³
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
