Two Years At The Nuthouse, Who Would've Thunk It?

Thu Dec 28, 2006 12:38 pm

Yup, it turns out that December 24 marks two years since I jumped in and joined this insane asylum that is Airliners.net; however, I was rather busy during the holidays, thus being unable to post the corresponding attention-whoring self gloss in due time.

And talking about time, my, how it flies! Back when I joined, I was eager to share my experiences as reservations supervisor and meet more fellow airline employees who were as passionate for their jobs as I was. Little did I know that I would have to quit my job just a week later...  crying

Alas, that didn't stop me from posting on A.net. In these two years I've learned a lot about this hobby of mine and shared what little I know in Civil-Av (  Wow! incredible as it may seem...), had many an interesting discussion and laughed my ass off in Non-Av, and as of recently been doing my bit to make this a better site. All in all, quite a turbulent ride... but well worth it.  bigthumbsup

So, to end the self-glossing, let me add that this is my 3000th post, so you are more than welcome to post your cargo bays and the like. Have fun!

- Carmen  cutie

Couldn't have said it better myself. Makes my day at work somewhat enjoyable.

I am in the same boat but I really am loving learning more about my passion.

So from a "NOOB" to a.net, congrats and keep up the good work making this a great site for everyone.

Congrats, Carmen.

I just joined this 'nuthouse' two days ago, and I feel like I'm part of the 'family' already.

Really glad that you've been here 2 years. I wonder if I could 'survive' that long.

Cheers,
Nik

Congratulations! This is a wonderful Website and from what I've read of your messages, we are privileged to have you as a member.

Two years passes quickly, and I can say that for myself, one year has certainly passed even more so.

Here's to more great times to come.

Well you see, if I actually posted a picture of myself, the load on the servers would be enormous, because of all my adoring fans around the world going to the Airliners.net forums just to see me. Its pure consideration for others that I dont post in those, really  Wink
